Dumb All Over, February Edition

Yeah, I know, two stupids in one day. Must be 'God's Will", right? Anyways, for a good laugh have a read of this at the Burnt Orange Report, about how Texas congressman and confirmed nutjob (I'm not going to tell you which party - you already know that one, don't you?) Warren Chisum (rhymes with 'jism') has circulated a memo to his anti-evolution buddies from.. hope you're sitting down... a group that not only doesn't believe in evolution, but dismisses Copernicus as well. Yup, the earth doesn't travel around the sun. Who knew? Have a look for yourself, it's called the 'Fair Education Foundation', here's what it says on the front page...

"An electromagnet and computerized sensor hidden in its
display stand cause the Earth to levitate in the air. Could God have engineered something like that for the real Earth? The Bible and all real evidence confirms that this is precisely what He did, and indeed: The Earth is not rotating...nor is it going around the sun. The universe is not one ten trillionth the size we are told.
Today’s cosmology fulfills an anti-Bible religious plan disguised as "science".
The whole scheme from Copernicanism to Big Bangism is a factless lie.
Those lies have planted the Truth-killing virus of evolutionism
in every aspect of man’s "knowledge" about the Universe, the
Earth, and Himself."
Jeez, I'm surprised that they haven't accused Copernicus and Darwin of working for COINTELPRO, which seems to be the paranoid idiot one-size-fits-all excuse nowadays.
