That's funny.. actually Gong's been around almost 40 years now. They have somewhat of a cult following in Europe. THey started off with some big mytholgy that was influenced by Buddhism and the French Situationists.. it then splintered into various projects, eventually morphing into an instrumental fusion band in the late 70's. Pretty goofy stuff but if you actually go back and listen to the albums there's some great musicianship going on.
